Hello Frontity team,
Do you have any idea on how can i exclude the WordPress to be detected on search engines, without affecting Yoast or the Frontity domain?
Example:
Here i got first the WP domain over the frontity domain in the search results.
Also this can be recognized by Google as a duplicated content, which is not really recommended.
Thanks for helping.
Best,
Dejan

I too noticed this last week. But I thought I did something wrong will check documentation then didnāt get time.
Ensure that āDiscourage search enginesā¦ā is disabled in Settings -> Reading
in the WP admin.
ā
However, this doesnāt guarantee that the site wonāt be indexed by search engines, so you could use a theme that doesnāt render any content
You could either a custom theme or a theme designed for headless such as Nude.
A custom theme could simply consist of just the bare minimum that WordPress needs, i.e. a styles.css
file and an index.php
file. The index.php
file can just have a wp_die()
statement or echo a āNothing to see hereā type of message.
